Thrive is a free 3-day personal and leadership development conference for LPS high school students. Experts lead sessions on topics such as civil discourse, emotional intelligence, networking, and much more! Students participate in challenges to develop their communication and leadership skills, all facilitated by our partners at Better Humans.   • Who: 2026-2027 LPS sophomores, juniors and seniors

  • Thrive is free, and we provide lunches and snacks, but you need transportation to and from LHS.


Thrive helps students get life-ready with skills, tools and information beyond what they learn in the classroom. Students participate in group challenges and get to choose breakout sessions. Topics explored include:

  • Problem-solving, Strategy and Critical Thinking Skills

  • Mental Health, Stress and Anxiety

  • Communication and People Skills

  • Strengths Assessment

  • And much more!
