THRIVE Institute
The Liberty Education Foundation is launching a new (and free) program for Liberty Public Schools rising sophomores, juniors and seniors this summer, July 12-14, from 9am-3pm. This three day THRIVE Institute will help students thrive in all areas of their lives - academically, personally, as members of local and global communities and professionally!
The Foundation has partnered with William Jewell College’s Tucker Leadership Lab to create and execute this customized experience that will be led by their expert facilitators. (They are all about fun and games!) In addition to the engaging and personal growth lessons, students will hear from five inspiring keynote speakers and have the opportunity to take a deep dive into areas of personal interest through our real world learning labs, facilitated by nearly 15 accomplished leaders in their fields.
The Thrive Institute content is based on the LPS Graduate Profile, a summary of the skills and dispositions our LPS graduates should possess. The Graduate Profile has five categories: Academic, Professional, Cultural, Personal and Entrepreneurial.
Still trying to decide if you want to attend? How about three days of epic lunches from Chick-fil-A, Minsky’s and Rancho Grande! Space is limited to 100 students and registration is required! The Thrive Institute will be hosted at The View at Liberty High School. #ThriveandShine
