LPS FACULTY AND STAFF COMMIT RECORD $85,000 THROUGH ANNUAL STAFF CAMPAIGN
Liberty Public Schools faculty and staff have set another record for the Liberty Education Foundation’s annual Staff Campaign, with 1,071 employees committing $85,000 to support students, educators and families.
Participants represent approximately 49% of the district’s 2,185 staff members. The campaign has grown every year since 2018, when 152 donors participated, and now consistently draws support from more than 1,000 employees.
“These are the people who spend their days investing in our students, and they choose to give even more,” said Tanna Campbell, executive director of the Liberty Education Foundation. “They see firsthand what philanthropic dollars make possible in our schools. Their participation is intentional, and we are so grateful for their belief in this work.”
Staff Campaign gifts support the Foundation’s four pillars: expanding student opportunities, empowering educators and promoting positive staff culture, caring for students and families, and connecting the community to Liberty Public Schools.
Campaign supporters can be spotted throughout the community wearing Foundation SHINE shirts or this year’s ivory LPS shirt designed by Love Letters. With strong interest in the shirts, the Foundation is exploring an opportunity to make them available to community members as well.
